Submit Proposal

Users with veINSUR holdings can create two types of proposals: General Proposals and New Product Listing Proposals. Please note the following requirements:

  • General Proposal: Requires a minimum of 1,000 voting power.

  • New Product Listing Proposal: Requires a minimum of 100,000 voting power.

Step 1: Navigate to the Governance page and connect wallet

Connect your Web3 wallet, such as MetaMask, ensuring you have enough veINSUR and tokens for gas fees.

Step 2: Navigate to the Proposals Page

a. Go to the Proposals page(Governance → Proposals)

b. Click "Create Proposal"

c. Select the proposal category: "General Proposal" or "New Product Listing Proposal"

Step 3: Edit

a. Fill in the title and description

Fill in the title and description following the provided template.

  • Template for “General” proposal:

  1. Summary (Please describe what this proposal is about)

  1. Value Proposition (Please Explain why you think this proposition is worthwhile.)

  1. Technical Specification (Please provide technical details if applicable.)

  1. Reference Link of the Proposal

  • Template for “New Product Listing” proposal”:

  1. Type of the new product (Smart Contract Vulnerability / Custodian Risk / Stablecoin De-Peg Risk/ Others)

  1. Name of the product/protocol

  1. A brief introduction of the product/protocol with relevant links/docs

  1. Total Value Locked on the platform(If applicable)

  1. Other relevant information

  1. Elaboration of the proposal

b. Input the Discord subchannel link

Step 4: Submission

Once all content is input:

a. Ensure you meet the veINSUR prerequisites

b. Submit the proposal

c. Sign the proposal

d. Wait for approval from the Governance Council (GC) before entering the voting phase
